Eileen Dengler

Eileen Dengler is the executive director of the New Atlantic Independent Booksellers Association, a position she has held for over twenty years. Dengler conceived and created the professional bookseller certification and serves as president of the Professional Booksellers School, Inc. She spent ten years as the director of meetings & conventions for the American Booksellers Association prior to it becoming BookExpo America. Her professional career has always been in the nonprofit trade sector spanning many disciplines, from professional fundraising, mechanical engineering, promotional marketing, family fun centers to forensic science and more. Her favorite has always been bookselling.
